Lake County, IL. – Peter Pettorini es un experimentado maestro y un líder respetado en el sector educativo que ha dedicado su vida a ayudar a la próxima generación en alcanzar el éxito.
Desde 2013, Pettorini ha enseñado inglés en la escuela secundaria de Round Lake y es asesor de la Sociedad Nacional de Honor de Round Lake. También se ha desempeñado en su junta escolar local como miembro de la Junta de Educación del Distrito 24 de Millburn desde 2021.
Pettorini es activo en su comunidad de varias maneras, incluyendo ser el Coordinador de Donación de Sangre en la Escuela Secundaria Round Lake; preside el Club Republicano del Municipio de Lake Villa; serve como Representante de la Asociación de Juntas Escolares de Illinois y dedica una cantidad significativa de su tiempo al trabajo voluntario.
Asistió a New Trier High School y se graduó de la Universidad de Western Illinois. Luego, obtuvo una Maestría en Educación y una certificación de enseñanza en inglés de Loyola-Chicago antes de convertirse en maestro en 2005. Pettorini y su esposa, Beth, están casados desde 2006 y tienen un hijo de 9 años, Dominic. Pettorini, ex gimnasta de secundaria, disfruta mantenerse físicamente activo. Peter Pettorini is an experienced teacher and respected leader in education who has dedicated his life to helping the next generation achieve success.
Since 2013, Pettorini has taught English at Round Lake High School and is the Round Lake National Honor Society Advisor. He has also served on his local school board as a Member of the Millburn District 24 Board of Education since 2021.
Pettorini is active in his community in a number of ways, including being the Blood Drive Coordinator at Round Lake High School, chairing the Lake Villa Township Republican Club, serving as an Illinois Association of School Boards Representative, and devoting significant time to volunteer work. He attended New Trier High School and graduated from Western Illinois University. He then earned a Master’s of Education and teaching certification in English from Loyola-Chicago prior to becoming a teacher in 2005.
Pettorini and his wife, Beth, have been married since 2006 and have a 9-year-old son, Dominic. A former high-school gymnast, Pettorini enjoys staying physically active. He also enjoys family time, including going to the movies, building snow forts, and playing LEGO with his son.
