Waukegan, IL. – “Como residente de toda la vida de Waukegan, comprendo la importancia de servir a la comunidad con los más altos estándares de integridad y transparencia, mientras lidero con honestidad y compasión.
Como madre latina de dos hijos y esposa, actuaré como defensora de nuestra comunidad diversa y culturalmente rica en Waukegan. Con 17 años de experiencia laboral en la oficina de la Secretaria de la Ciudad de Waukegan, me comprometo a dedicar mi trabajo a crear asociaciones sólidas con proveedores de servicios locales, organizaciones y funcionarios electos para unir apoyos accesibles a los miembros de nuestra comunidad.
Me aseguraré de que los miembros de mi equipo estén completamente capacitados y equipados para responder e identificar las necesidades subyacentes de los residentes de Waukegan y llenar los vacíos de recursos y apoyo tan necesarios.
La importancia de establecer relaciones y crear espacios seguros para que los miembros de nuestra comunidad accedan a recursos e información es la piedra angular para lograr un mejor Waukegan.

As a Latina mother of two and wife, I will act as an advocate for our diverse and culturally-rich community in Waukegan. With 17 years of work experience within the Waukegan City Clerk’s Office, I pledge as City Clerk to dedicate my work in creating strong partnerships with local service providers, organizations, and elected officials to bridge accessible supports to our community members. I will ensure that those on my team are fully trained and equipped to respond and identify the underlying needs of the residents in Waukegan and fill in the gaps for much needed resources and support. The importance of building relationships and creating safe spaces for our community members to access resources and information is the cornerstone to achieving a better Waukegan.
