Lake County, IL.- Seis comercios fueron detectados vendiendo alcohol a menores, por lo que fueron multados por la oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Lake que realiza controles de cumplimiento de alcohol en los establecimientos de venta de licores del Condado de Lake. Las verificaciones de cumplimiento están diseñadas para garantizar que las empresas que venden alcohol no vendan a menores de 21 años.
De los 55 establecimientos evaluados, seis de ellos vendieron alcohol a alguien menor de 21 años.
Empleados multados
Los empleados en violación fueron multados por vender licor a un menor. Deben comparecer en la corte de Waukegan. Se enviaron avisos de las infracciones a sus respectivas jurisdicciones de la comisión de licores (Long Grove, Beach Park, Wadsworth y Lake County Liquor Commission).
Se presume que todos los acusados son inocentes a menos que se pruebe su culpabilidad en un tribunal de justicia.
Lake County Alcohol Compliance Checks
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office conducts alcohol compliance checks at Lake County liquor selling establishments. The compliance checks are designed to ensure businesses vending alcohol are not selling to anyone under the age of 21.
Of the 55 establishments tested, six of them sold alcohol to someone under the age of 21.

Clerks were ticketed
The clerks in violation were ticketed for selling liquor to a minor. They are required to appear in Waukegan court. Notice of the violations were sent to their respective liquor commission jurisdictions (Long Grove, Beach Park, Wadsworth, and Lake County Liquor Commission).
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
