Gurnee, IL.-Para aquellos de ustedes que son nuevos en nuestro distrito, esta será su primera experiencia con los días de eLearning. Para ser claros, no se pretende que sean lo mismo que un día en el aula. Tienen la intención de mantener el aprendizaje avanzando. El cronograma de nuestro cierre extendido muestra cinco días de eLearning. No hay dos días consecutivos. Los días intermedios son como un “día de nieve”. Los estudiantes pueden completar el trabajo en cualquier momento que funcione para su familia. Sin embargo, los maestros solo estarán disponibles en línea durante el horario escolar regular en el Día de aprendizaje electrónico designado. Las tareas completadas deben entregarse al quinto día después de que regresemos a la escuela.
A continuación se presentan algunas pautas simples para tener un día de aprendizaje electrónico exitoso:
1.-Comience haciendo clic en la página web del maestro de su hijo. Puede encontrar su página web en la página del District 56 page
2.-Seleccione la escuela de su hijo.
3.-Seleccione “nuestro personal”
4.-Selecciona el nombre del profesor. Las instrucciones del día de aprendizaje electrónico se encontrarán en el sitio web del profesor
Un día típico de aprendizaje electrónico contendrá aproximadamente cinco horas de actividades para su hijo. No es necesario que su hijo complete más de cinco horas de trabajo.
1.-Su hijo tiene cinco días después de regresar a la escuela para entregar las actividades del día de aprendizaje electrónico. Pueden enviarlos digitalmente a su maestro en cualquier momento antes. Si el trabajo no se completa dentro de los cinco días posteriores al regreso, su hijo será marcado ausente para el día de aprendizaje electrónico.
2.-Las preguntas relacionadas con las tareas del día de aprendizaje electrónico deben dirigirse al maestro de su hijo por correo electrónico.
3.-Si tiene dificultades técnicas (problemas con el dispositivo de su hijo), tenemos una sala de chat donde puede encontrar ayuda técnica.
4.-Si no puede encontrar la ayuda técnica que necesita en la sala de chat, puede llamar al 847-505-1850.

Gurnee’s D56 reports on e-Learning at home
For those of you who are new to our district this will be your first experience with eLearning Days. To be clear, these are not intended to be the same as a day in the classroom. They are intended to keep the learning moving forward. The schedule for our extended closing shows five days of eLearning. There are no two days back to back. The days in between are just like a “snow day.” Students can complete the work at any time that works for your family. Teachers, however, will only be available online during the regular school hours on the designated eLearning Day. Completed assignments are due by the fifth day after we return to school.
Below are some simple guidelines for having a successful e-learning day:
1.-Begin by clicking on your child’s teacher’s webpage. You can find their webpage on the District 56 page
2.-Select your child’s school.
3.-Select “our staff”
4.-Select the teacher’s name. E-learning day instructions will be found on the teacher’s website
A typical e-learning day will contain approximately five hours of activities for your child. There is no need to have your child complete more than five hours of work.
1.-Your child has five days after returning to school to turn in the e-learning day activities. They are welcome to submit them digitally to their teacher at any time prior. If the work is not completed within five days of returning, your child will be marked absent for the e-learning day.
2.-Questions related to e-learning day assignments should be directed to your child’s teacher via email.
3.-If you are having technical difficulties (problems with your child’s device), we have a chat room where you can find technical help.
4.-If you are unable to find the technical help you need in the chat room, you can call 847-505-1850.
