 Zion, IL.- El Equipo de Liderazgo Juvenil de Beulah Park extendió su ayuda durante sus recientes campañas mundiales. Después de aprender sobre Haití, los estudiantes organizaron una venta de pasteles para ayudar a Haití a aliviar el hambre durante las conferencias de padres y maestros. Los líderes Kaiden, Shannon y Davin crearon una presentación de diapositivas para celebrar el éxito de la venta de pasteles y para promover su campaña de Pennies para Puerto Rico. Sus esfuerzos ayudarán a recaudar dinero para los esfuerzos de recuperación necesarios debido a los recientes terremotos en Puerto Rico. El Departamento de Tecnología y Comunicación del Distrito 6 ayudó a los estudiantes a conectarse con Puerto Rico para que pudieran entrevistar a las hijas del miembro del personal de Beulah Park, la Sra. Cruz, sobre la devastación en su país.
 Son los nuevos miembros
 ¡Tres estudiantes de Shiloh Park son los miembros más nuevos del Weather Sketchers Club de ABC7! Felicitaciones a Xitalli, Ashley y Emilio de la clase de tercer grado de la Sra. Orozco. Todos los estudiantes de tercer grado aprendieron recientemente sobre las diferentes etapas del clima en la clase y estos tres afortunados fueron elegidos para que sus obras de arte se transmitieran en ABC7 como parte del segmento especial de Weather Sketcher.
 
District 6 Youth Leaders’ Global Outreach
 The Beulah Park Youth Leadership Team extended their help during their recent global campaigns. After learning about Haiti, students organized a Bake sale to assist Haiti with hunger relief during Parent Teacher Conferences. Leaders Kaiden, Shannon, and Davin then created a slideshow presentation to celebrate the success of the Bake Sale as well as to promote their Pennies for Puerto Rico campaign. Their efforts will help raise money for recovery efforts needed due to the recent earthquakes in Puerto Rico. The District 6 Technology and Communication Department helped students connect with Puerto Rico so they could interview the daughters of Beulah Park staff member, Mrs. Cruz, about the devastation in their country.
 Shiloh Park Students Join Weather Sketchers Club
 Three of Shiloh Park students are the newest members of ABC7's Weather Sketchers Club! Congratulations to Xitalli, Ashley, and Emilio from Ms. Orozco's Third Grade Class. All third graders recently learned about the different stages of weather in class and these lucky three were chosen to have their artwork aired on ABC7 as part of the special Weather Sketcher’s segment.
