Waukegan, IL. – Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 will host its second annual Job Fair on April 27, where community members will have an opportunity to explore the various employment opportunities available in the District.
At the Fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Miguel Juarez Middle School, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about a wide range of positions within Waukegan Public Schools. Staff representing District departments and school buildings will be on hand to field questions about positions, as well as their experiences working in the buildings.
While the district is always seeking qualified and certified teachers and substitutes, job openings beyond the classroom, such as paraprofessionals, classroom assistants, secretarial staff, safety staff, custodial staff, and more will also be available.
“The fair is a great opportunity for people to introduce themselves and get to know some of our staff. Last year we met several qualified candidates who filled positions within our schools,” said Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, Mr. Angel Figueroa.
