REGISTRATION AND VOTING AIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that any registered voter who is eligible to vote in the April 4, 2023, Consolidated Election may vote by mail, early, or on Election Day. Vote by Mail applications are currently being accepted and Vote by Mail ballots are available beginning March 10, 2023. Early Voting begins at the County Clerk’s office on March 10, 2023. All other Early Voting sites open on March 20, 2023, and continue through Monday, April 3, 2023.

Vote by Mail applications are available online or by calling the Lake County Clerk’s office at (847) 377-2406. Voter registration is open through March 7, 2023. Voter registration is also available online through the Illinois State Board of Elections at https://ova.elections.il.gov through March 19, 2023. Grace Period Registration and Voting is available from March 8, 2023, through April 4, 2023.

A fully accessible voting system will be available during Early Voting and at all voting sites on the 4th of April. Lake County’s system is an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ballot-marking system providing privacy and accessibility to voters who are blind, vision-impaired, or have a disability or condition that would make it difficult or impossible to mark a ballot the usual way.
