Cerca de 300 niños disfrutaron del programa de Reducción y Prevención de la Violencia en Menores que ofrece el Centro Corporativo Empresarial, y La Liga Puro Futbol.

Waukegan, IL.- Cerca de 300 niños y niñas disfrutaron de una tarde inolvidable de balompié al culminar el Mundialito 2026 que organiza el Centro Corporativo Empresarial y La Liga Puro Futbol en esta ciudad.
El proyecto es parte del programa Reducción y Prevención de la Violencia en Menores y que es hecho posible gracias al apoyo de la Representante Estatal por el Distrito de Waukegan, Rita Mayfield, quien hace lo posible para canalizar fondos que ayudan a minorías en su área.
Asimismo, un total agradecimiento al Fiscal de Distrito del Condado de Lake, Eric Rinehart por su valiosa participación por entregar medallas y motivar a los niños; los padres participantes, y el staff de La Liga Puro Futbol por hacer posible este torneo que culmina con sonrisas y menores con una mentalidad positiva, que, sin duda, los alejará de peligros en el futuro.
Se tiene contemplado iniciar una segunda temporada, para ello, los registros se llevarán a cabo durante el mes de julio, para empezar actividades de julio a octubre del presente años.
La fecha y lugar para registros se darán a conocer en Puro Futbol en los siguientes días.

Extraordinary final
Nearly 300 children enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon of soccer as the “Mundialito 2026”, organized by the Centro Corporativo Empresarial and La Liga Puro Futbol in this city, came to a close.
The project is part of the Youth Violence Reduction and Prevention program, made possible through the support of State Representative Rita Mayfield (Waukegan District), who works to secure funding to assist minority communities in her area.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Lake County State’s Attorney Eric Rinehart for his valuable participation in presenting medals and encouraging the children, as well as to the participating parents and the La Liga Puro Futbol staff for making this tournament possible, an event that concludes with smiles and young people adopting a positive mindset that will undoubtedly keep them away from danger in the future.
Plans are underway for a second season; registration will take place in July, with activities running from July through October of this year.
Registration dates and locations will be announced by Puro Futbol in the coming days.
