Waukegan, IL. – El Secretario del Condado de Lake, Anthony Vega, anuncia que la Votación Anticipada comenzó el 2 de marzo, para las Elecciones Primarias Generales del 17 de marzo de 2026.
A partir de esta fecha, los votantes pueden emitir su voto en persona en los centros de Votación Anticipada designados en todo el Condado de Lake. La Votación Anticipada ofrece una opción conveniente y flexible para quienes prefieren votar en persona antes del día de las elecciones.

Además, el Registro del Período de Gracia está disponible en todos los centros de Votación Anticipada a partir de hoy. Los votantes que necesiten registrarse o actualizar su registro pueden hacerlo y deben votar al mismo tiempo. Para registrarse, se requieren dos documentos de identificación vigentes: ambos con el nombre actual del votante y uno con su dirección actual en el Condado de Lake.

Early voting begins
Clerk Anthony Vega announces that Early Voting begins today, March 2, for the March 17, 2026 General Primary Election.
Beginning today, voters may cast their ballot in person at designated Early Voting sites throughout Lake County. Early Voting provides a convenient and flexible option for voters who prefer to vote in person before Election Day.
Early Voting locations and hours vary by site. A full list of locations, dates, and times is available at: https://www.lakecountyil.gov/343/Voting-Options
In addition, Grace Period Registration is available at all Early Voting sites beginning today. Voters who need to register or update their registration may do so and must vote at the same time. Registration requires two forms of current identification, both showing the voter’s current name, and one reflecting the voter’s current Lake County address.
“Early Voting ensures that every voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot at a time and location that works best for them,” said Clerk Vega. “We encourage residents to make a plan to vote early and participate in the democratic process.”
