REGISTRATION AND VOTING AIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that any registered voter who is eligible to vote during the March 17, 2026, General Primary Election; may vote by mail, early, or on Election Day. Vote by Mail applications are currently being accepted and Vote by Mail ballots are available beginning February 5, 2026. Early Voting begins at the County Clerk’s Office on February 5, 2026. All other Early Voting sites open on March 2, 2026, and continue through Monday, March 16, 2026.
Vote by Mail applications are available online or by calling the Lake County Clerk’s Office at (847) 377-2406. Voter registration is open through February 17, 2026. Voter registration is also available online through the Illinois State Board of Elections at https://ova.elections.il.gov through March 1, 2026. Grace Period Registration and Voting is available from February 18, 2026, through March 17, 2026.
A fully accessible voting system will be available during Early Voting and at all voting sites on the 17th of March. Lake County’s system is an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ballot-marking system providing privacy and accessibility to voters who are blind, vision-impaired, or have a disability or condition that would make it difficult or impossible to mark a ballot the usual way.
