Waukegan, IL. – El domingo 4 de mayo de 2025, aproximadamente a las 9:55 p. m., los departamentos de Waukegan y bomberos de Gurnee acudieron a la zona de West Harrison Avenue y North Adelphi Street tras recibir un reporte de una persona apuñalada. Los oficiales llegaron y localizaron a un sujeto inconsciente en la calle. Los oficiales comenzaron a brindarle primeros auxilios y RCP hasta que los paramédicos se hicieron cargo. El individuo fue trasladado al Centro Médico Advocate Condell, donde fue declarado muerto en urgencias.
Se notificó a la Oficina del Forense del Condado de Lake, que acudió al hospital.
El fallecido fue identificado como Adam Hoth, de 42 años, residente de Grayslake. El lunes 5 de mayo de 2025, se realizó una autopsia en la Oficina del Forense del Condado de Lake. Los resultados de la autopsia indican que el Sr. Hoth falleció a causa de múltiples lesiones por objetos punzantes. El incidente está siendo investigado por la Unidad de Escena de Delitos Graves del Departamento de Policía de Waukegan.

Waukegan Stabbing Death Investigation
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, at approximately 9:55 p.m., The Waukegan Police Department and Gurnee Fire Department responded to the area of West Harrison Avenue and North Adelphi Street, for a report of a person who had been stabbed. Officers arrived and located a subject in the street who was unresponsive. Officers began performing first aid and started CPR on him until paramedics took over care. The individual was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office was notified and responded to the hospital.
The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Adam Hoth of Grayslake. On Monday, May 5, 2025, an autopsy was conducted at the Lake County Coroner’s Office. Autopsy results indicate that Mr. Hoth died from multiple sharp force injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Waukegan Police Department’s Major Crime Scene Unit.
