Waukegan, IL. – El Departamento de Policía de Waukegan realiza esfuerzos suplementarios de cumplimiento de la ley a través de la subvención del Programa de Control de Tránsito Sustentable (STEP, por sus siglas en inglés) del 13 al 25 de febrero.

Las áreas en las que se concentrarán los oficiales son las siguientes:

• Lewis Ave (Beach Rd a Sunset Ave)
• Greenbay Rd (Grand Ave a Belvidere Rd)
• Sunset Ave (Greenbay Rd a Lewis Ave)
• Grand Ave (Greenbay Rd a Butrick St)
• Greenbay Rd (Pacific Ave a Grand Ave)
• Greenbay Rd (Belvidere Rd a 14th St)
• Amstutz Expy (Greenwood Ave a Sheridan Rd)
• Lewis Ave (Belvidere Rd a 14th St)
• Sheridan Rd (Blanchard Rd a Glen Flora Ave)

Police operations continue in Waukegan
The Waukegan Police Department is conducting supplementary enforcement efforts through the Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) grant beginning February 13th through February 25th.
This additional enforcement campaign is funded by federal traffic safety funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and is administered through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
