Lake County, IL. – Election Day is right around the corner on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and the Lake County Clerk’s Office is dedicated to helping every eligible voter be prepared to participate. Whether you’re a seasoned voter or casting your ballot for the first time, follow these steps to ensure a smooth voting experience:

• Confirm Your Voter Registration: Ensure your voter registration is up to date before heading to the polls. Visit LakeVoterPower.info to verify your status and make sure everything is correct.
• Locate Your Polling Place: Know where you’ll be voting! Your assigned polling location can be easily found on Lake Voter Power or via our new Election Day Polling Places tool.
• Study Your Sample Ballot: Prepare ahead by reviewing a sample ballot. Getting familiar with the candidates and ballot measures will help you make confident and informed decisions when you vote.
• Review Your Vote Plan: Organize your schedule now to ensure you have time to vote on November 5th. Consider any work, school, or personal commitments and leave ample time for voting.
