Waukegan, IL. – Over 100 nonprofits apply every year for the Impact 100 Chicago grant. This year, Beacon Place was one of four agencies garnering the honor of being a 2019 Impact 100 Chicago Finalist. On May 7, the members of Impact 100 Chicago, women who have each pledged $1,000 to be a member of this group, will vote on the which organization will win the $100,000 grant at their awards celebration.
All four organizations though receive grant monies for having earned their way to the finals.
“Our efforts are validated everyday by the achievements and thankfulness of our Beacon students. To be further validated by such an illustrious group of women who vetted many worthy organizations is so many things – thrilling, humbling, exciting. “ says Tania Surane spokesperson for Beacon Place.
As Beacon Place continues on its path of creating brighter tomorrows for its participants, we hope you can join us on May 2 at 7 p.m., for our Spring Fundraiser being held at Exmoor Country Club, 700 Vine Avenue in Highland Park. Experience firsthand why Beacon Place is an Impact 100 Chicago finalist. There will be an opportunity to meet the students and families of Beacon Place while hearing stories of inspiration on how their lives are being changed by the experiences and the opportunities offered at Beacon Place.
