Waukegan, IL. - En conformidad con la Ley Publica 101-0642 de Illinois, a partir del 1 de agosto, la Secretaria del Condado de Lake enviará una Solicitud de Boleta de votación por correo a los residentes del Condado de Lake que satisfacen los siguientes requisitos:
1.- Emitieron su voto por correo, durante la votación temprana, o en el día de las elecciones primarias generales de marzo del 2020, las elecciones consolidadas de abril del 2019, o las elecciones generales de noviembre del 2018, o
2.- Se registraron para votar o actualizaron su domicilio entre el 18 de marzo del 2020 y el 31 de julio del 2020.

Si usted es un votante registrado del Condado de Lake que quiere votar desde su hogar y prefiere llenar una Solicitud de Boleta en línea, ingrese a LakeVoterPower.info (haga clic en “Español) y seleccione “Solicitud por internet”.
Debido al COVID-19 le estamos alentando que vote desde la seguridad de su hogar y evite esperar en las filas de los sitios de votación ocupados y congestionados.
Para cada elección, usted debe someter una solicitud antes de recibir una boleta. Si usted elige votar por correo, su Solicitud de Boleta debe ser devuelta a la oficina de la Secretaría del Condado de Lake a más tardar a las 5 p.m. del 29 de octubre. Esta puede ser devuelta mediante entrega personal, por correo electrónico, o por correo, utilizando el servicio postal de los EE. UU.
Usted puede pedir que se le envíe su boleta a un domicilio alterno, temporario. Esto es especialmente útil para los viajeros invernales y los estudiantes que se encuentran fuera de su distrito electoral por motivos de sus estudios.

Vote from the Safety and Comfort of Home
In compliance with Illinois Public Act 101-0642 and on August 1, the Lake County Clerk will be sending a vote by mail Application for Ballot to Lake County residents who:
1.- voted by mail, during early voting, or on Election Day in the March 2020 General Primary Election, April 2019 Consolidated Election, or the November 2018 General Election, or
2.- registered to vote or updated their address between March 18, 2020 and July 31, 2020.
Application for Ballot
If you are a Lake County registered voter, want to vote from home, and prefer an online Application for Ballot, log onto LakeVoterPower.info and select “electronic request."
Due to COVID-19, we are encouraging you to vote from the safety of your home and avoid the lines at busy, crowded voting sites.
For every election, you must submit an application before receiving a ballot. If you are choosing to vote by mail, your completed Application for Ballot must be returned to the Lake County Clerk’s office by 5 PM on October 29. It can be hand-delivered, emailed, or mailed through the U.S. Postal Service.
You can choose to have your ballot mailed to an alternate, temporary address which is especially helpful for snowbirds and students away at school.
Ballots will be mailed beginning September 24 through October 29, 2020.
