Round Lake Beach, IL. – “Necesitamos gobiernos que muestren diversidad, empatía y buena relación con sus residentes, no que solo estén ahí en el poder para calentar las sillas”, dijo la candidata al puesto de Secretaria del Avon Township de Lake County.
Jaycee Ochoa, quien se describe como una persona con sensibilidad ante los problemas de la comunidad, destaca su lema: “Now is our time – Ahora es nuestro tiempo”.
“Soy mamá, esposa, hija, agente de bienes raíces, y residente de Round Lake Beach desde 1989 y creo firmemente que sé qué es lo que necesita, no sólo la comunidad hispana, sino todos los que vivimos en el distrito Avon Township, es por eso que me postulo como Secretaria (Clerk) para marcar la diferencia en ayuda comunitaria”, dijo Ochoa.
“Necesitamos gobiernos que los políticos no sólo calienten las sillas, sino que se unan como comunidad y sepan quienes son sus vecinos, a esas personas forman una comunidad fuerte”, enfatizó la candidata de origen mexicano.

“We need governments that show diversity, empathy and good relationship with their residents, not just be there in power to heat the chairs,” said the candidate for the position of Secretary of Avon Township of Lake County.
Jaycee Ochoa, who describes herself as a person with sensitivity to community problems, highlights her motto: “Now is our Time.”
“I am a mother, wife, daughter, real estate agent, and resident of Round Lake Beach since 1989 and I firmly believe that I know what it is that not only the Hispanic community needs, but all of us who live in the Avon Township district, is that’s why I’m running as Secretary (Clerk) to make a difference in community aid”, said Ochoa.
“We need governments that politicians not only warm up their chairs, but also come together as a community and know who their neighbors are, they form a strong community for those people,” emphasized the candidate of Mexican origin.
