Lake County, IL. – Los candidatos electos en las Elecciones Generales del 8 de noviembre para servir en la Junta del Condado de Lake prestarán juramento a las 9 a.m. del lunes 5 de diciembre en el Complejo Administrativo del Condado de Lake en Waukegan.
Los miembros de la Junta del Condado de Lake representarán a sus electores dentro de 19 distritos geográficos específicos. El nuevo mapa de distritos, que entrará en vigencia el 5 de diciembre, es el resultado de la redistribución de 2021 que redujo la cantidad de distritos de 21 a 19.

Elected officials will be sworn in
Individuals elected in the Nov. 8 General Election to serve on the Lake County Board will be sworn in at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at the Lake County Administrative Complex in Waukegan.
Lake County Board Members will represent their constituents within 19 specific geographic districts. The new County Board district map, which goes into effect on Dec. 5, is the result of the 2021 reapportionment that reduced the number of districts from 21 to 19. View the new district map.
At the Board meeting, the County Board Chair and Vice Chair will be elected, and the chair of the Rules Committee and its members will be appointed.
The public may attend the County Board meeting in person at the Administrative Complex located at 18 N. County St., 10th Floor, Waukegan, or virtually online. A link to register to attend the meeting remotely will be provided within the meeting agenda, which will be posted on the Lake County website.on Dec. 1.
The County Board meeting also will be broadcast live on LCTV.
