Al parecer, el conductor huía luego de atropellar a una persona

Lake Villa, IL. – Una persona, que al parecer huía tras atropellar a una persona, fue llevada con heridas graves al hospital, al chocar y salir expulsado de su auto, mientras trataba de rebasar con el pavimento mojado, informó la oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Lake.
El 12 de noviembre de 2021, aproximadamente a las 5:20 p.m., los agentes del sheriff respondieron a la ruta 59 y Monaville Road en Lake Villa no incorporada por un accidente de tráfico con lesiones, que involucró a un ocupante expulsado.
Los agentes llegaron y localizaron una Ford F250 2001 con daños importantes. La investigación preliminar muestra que el Ford viajaba hacia el norte por la Ruta 59 y el conductor, un hombre de 29 años de Spring Grove, intentó rebasar a otro vehículo.
Debido al pavimento mojado, el conductor perdió el control del Ford y se deslizó hacia el estándar de tráfico en la intersección. El conductor, que no llevaba cinturón de seguridad, fue expulsado del vehículo.
El conductor fue transportado al Centro Médico Advocate Condell en Libertyville con lesiones críticas que pusieron en peligro su vida. También parece que el conductor estuvo involucrado en otro accidente de atropello y fuga en el área de la Ruta 59 y Wilson Road, Ingleside. Los accidentes siguen siendo investigados por la Unidad de Investigaciones Técnicas de Accidentes de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Lake.
Traffic Crash with Critical Injuries
A person, apparently fleeing after hitting a person, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, when he crashed and was thrown out of his car, while trying to pass on wet pavement, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.
On November 12, 2021, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Route 59 and Monaville Road in unincorporated Lake Villa for a traffic crash with injuries, involving an ejected occupant.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived and located a 2001 Ford F250 with major damage. Preliminary investigation shows the Ford was traveling northbound on Route 59 and the driver, a 29-year-old man from Spring Grove, attempted to pass another vehicle. Due to the wet pavement, the driver lost control of the Ford and slid into the traffic standard at the intersection. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with critical, life-threatening injuries. It also appears the driver was involved in a separate hit-and-run crash in the area of Route 59 and Wilson Road, Ingleside.
The crashes remain under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
