Wukegan, IL. -The Waukegan Police Department will be conducting added roadside safety and sobriety patrols for the Labor Day holiday time period between August 16th and September 3rd. There will be up to six (6) days of added roving patrols for intoxicated drivers, and twelve (12) seat belt enforcement zones during this time period throughout the city.

Funding for this “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and the “Click It or Ticket” campaigns will be paid for by the Illinois Department of Transportation, through a Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) grant. You cooperation is greatly appreciated.
