Wadsworth, IL. – Agentes del sheriff del condado de Lake respondieron a un accidente de tránsito de un solo vehículo con heridos en la cuadra 39500 de North Dilleys Road, Wadsworth, el pasado 28 de noviembre, aproximadamente a las 6:30 p.m.
Llegaron y localizaron un Mitsubishi Lancer 2005 con daños considerables.
La investigación preliminar muestra que el conductor del Mitsubishi, un hombre de 83 años de Gurnee, viajaba hacia el norte por Dilleys Road. Por una razón desconocida, el hombre no pudo tomar una curva en la carretera y se salió del lado este de Dilleys Road, golpeando varios árboles y una cerca.
El hombre fue transportado en ambulancia al Centro Médico Advocate Condell en Libertyville en estado crítico. Es posible que el hombre sufriera un problema médico antes del accidente. El accidente sigue siendo investigado por la Unidad Técnica de Investigaciones de Accidentes de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Lake.

Serious Wadsworth traffic crash
On November 28, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash with injuries in the 39500 block of North Dilleys Road, Wadsworth. Sheriff’s deputies arrived and located a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer with significant damage.
Preliminary investigation shows the driver of the Mitsubishi, an 83-year-old man of Gurnee, was traveling northbound on Dilleys Road. For an unknown reason, the man failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and drove off the east side of Dilleys Road, striking several trees and a fence.
The man was transported via ambulance to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in critical condition. It is possible the man suffered a medical event prior to the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
