Waukegan, IL. – El viernes 27 de octubre de 2023, aproximadamente a las 9:50 p.m., el Departamento de Policía de Waukegan acudió al 200 North Green Bay Road, el antiguo hotel Ramada Inn, para una investigación de muerte. Los agentes llegaron y encontraron a dos personas muertas dentro de una de las habitaciones con aparentes heridas de bala.
La oficina forense del condado de Lake fue notificada y acudió al lugar.
Los fallecidos han sido identificados positivamente como Jamir Johnson, de 30 años, antes de Gurnee, y David Miller, de 59 años, antes de Lindenhurst. El lunes 30 de octubre de 2023 se realizaron autopsias en la oficina forense del condado de Lake. Los resultados preliminares de la autopsia indican que tanto Jamir Johnson como David Miller sufrieron múltiples heridas de bala. El incidente está bajo investigación por el Departamento de Policía de Waukegan.

Waukegan death investigation
On Friday, October 27, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Waukegan Police Department responded to 200 North Green Bay Road, the former Ramada Inn hotel, for a death investigation. Officers arrived and found two people dead inside one of the rooms with apparent gunshot wounds.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office was notified and responded to the scene.
The deceased have been positively identified as 30-year-old Jamir Johnson, formerly of Gurnee, and 59-year-old David Miller formerly of Lindenhurst. On Monday, October 30, 2023, autopsies were conducted at the Lake County Coroner’s Office. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that both Jamir Johnson and David Miller suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The incident is under investigation by the Waukegan Police Department.
