Waukegan, IL. – El sábado 8 de febrero de 2025, aproximadamente a las 11:27 p. m., los departamentos de Policía y Bomberos de Waukegan respondieron a Forty One Fourteen Steaks and Seafood en 2120 North Green Bay Road, de esta ciudad por un informe de apuñalamiento.
Los oficiales llegaron y encontraron a un hombre de 51 años de Waukegan herido. El hombre fue trasladado al Vista Medical Center East, donde fue declarado muerto en la sala de emergencias.
Se notificó a la Oficina del Forense del Condado de Lake y acudió al hospital.
El fallecido ha sido identificado como Joshua Kirkwood, de 51 años, de Waukegan. El lunes 10 de febrero de 2025, se realizó una autopsia en la Oficina del Forense del Condado de Lake. Los resultados de la autopsia indican que el Sr. Kirkwood murió por múltiples heridas con objetos punzantes.

Died from multiple sharp force injuries
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at approximately 11:27 p.m., the Waukegan Police Department and Waukegan Fire Department responded to Forty One Fourteen Steaks and Seafood at 2120 North Green Bay Road, Waukegan for a report of a stabbing. Officers arrived and found an injured 51-year-old man from Waukegan. The man was transported to Vista Medical Center East where he was pronounced deceased in the emergency room.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office was notified and responded to the hospital.
The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Joshua Kirkwood of Waukegan. On Monday, February 10, 2025, an autopsy was conducted at the Lake County Coroner’s Office. Autopsy results indicate that Mr. Kirkwood died from multiple sharp force injuries.
