Lake County, IL.- Los detectives del Sheriff del Condado de Lake obtuvieron órdenes de arresto para dos delincuentes involucrados en un tiroteo ocurrido durante la madrugada del 6 de marzo de 2022, en la cuadra 41400 de North Green Bay Road, Wadsworth.
Durante la balacera, Charles Brooks, III, 41, de la cuadra 3600 de 16th Street, Zion, y Carnell D. Taylor, de 47, de la cuadra 2000 de Joanna Avenue, Zion, dispararon armas de fuego contra un vehículo ocupado, en el estacionamiento de una gasolinera.
Afortunadamente, nadie resultó herido ni herido en los disparos. Brooks III huyó hacia el este por la ruta 173 en un Chevrolet Impala blanco después del tiroteo y Taylor huyó hacia el norte por Green Bay Road en un Monte Carlo azul. El Monte Carlo tiene puertas que se abren verticalmente.
Durante su investigación, los detectives del Sheriff del Condado de Lake identificaron positivamente a Brooks III y Taylor. El 14 de marzo de 2022, los detectives obtuvieron una orden de arresto por:

Brooks III

• Posesión ilegal de un arma de fuego por un delincuente (delito grave de clase 2)
  Un juez del condado de Lake fijó la fianza de la orden en $350,000

Taylor

• Delincuente Habitual Armado (Delito Grave Clase X)
• Descarga agravada de un arma de fuego (delito mayor de clase 1)
• Posesión ilegal de un arma de fuego por un delincuente (delito grave de clase 2)
  Un juez del Condado de Lake fijó la fianza de la orden en $500,000. Taylor mide 6’04”, pesa aproximadamente 250 libras, tiene cabello negro y ojos marrones. Brooks III mide 5’07”, pesa aproximadamente 180 libras, tiene cabello negro y ojos marrones.

Armed and extremely dangerous
Lake County Sheriff’s Detectives obtained arrest warrants for two offenders involved in a shooting. The shooting occurred during the early morning hours of March 6, 2022, in the 41400 block of North Green Bay Road, Wadsworth.
During the shooting, Charles Brooks, III, 41, of the 3600 block of 16th Street, Zion, and Carnell D. Taylor, 47, of the 2000 block of Joanna Avenue, Zion, both shot firearms at an occupied vehicle, in the parking lot of a gas station.
Fortunately, nobody was struck or injured in the shooting. Brooks III fled eastbound on Route 173 in a white Chevrolet Impala following the shooting and Taylor fled northbound on Green Bay Road in a blue Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo has doors which open vertically.
During their investigation, Lake County Sheriff’s Detectives positively identified Brooks III and Taylor. On March 14, 2022, Lake County Sheriff’s Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for:

Brooks III:
Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm (Class 1 Felony)
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (Class 2 Felony)
A Lake County Judge set bond on the warrant at $350,000.00.

Taylor:
Armed Habitual Criminal (Class X Felony)
Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm (Class 1 Felony)
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (Class 2 Felony)
A Lake County Judge set bond on the warrant at $500,000.00. Taylor is 6’04,” approximately 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Brooks III is 5’07,” approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
