He stabbed Mariana Castro-Tellez with a knife, and shot her with a BB gun.

Round Lake Beach, IL. – Charges have been approved by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office for Alonzo Campos, Jr., the offender responsible for the death of Mariana Castro-Tellez.
The investigation is made for Round Lake Beach Police and Lake County Major Crime Task Force Investigators. Two counts of First-Degree Murder charges have been approved for Alonzo Campos, Jr., 20, of the 24500 block of West Passavant Avenue, Unincorporated Round Lake.
The investigation revealed Campos entered the home of the victim, Castro-Tellez, and he was armed with a BB gun. While inside the home, Castro-Tellez was confronted by Campos. Castro-Tellez appeared to have been shot several times from the BB gun by Campos, before he stabbed her with a knife. A family member of the victim heard the BB gun being discharged, which prompted the initial ‘shots fired’ call to Round Lake Beach Police Officers.
