Al dar la bienvenida al Año Nuevo, deseo a todos los residentes de Waukegan un 2026 lleno de salud, seguridad y prosperidad. Enero es un momento para reflexionar sobre lo que hemos logrado y mirar hacia las oportunidades que se presentan ante nosotros como comunidad. Juntos, seguimos invirtiendo en seguridad pública, infraestructura, desarrollo económico y calidad de vida para todos los que llaman a Waukegan su hogar.
Les recuerdo que se preparen para las condiciones climáticas invernales y que respeten las restricciones de estacionamiento durante las nevadas para que nuestros equipos de Obras Públicas puedan limpiar las calles de manera eficiente. Gracias por su cooperación y por cuidarse mutuamente durante los meses más fríos.
Espero trabajar con ustedes durante el próximo año mientras continuamos construyendo una Waukegan más fuerte y vibrante.

Dear Neighbors,

As we welcome the New Year, I want to wish all Waukegan residents a healthy, safe, and prosperous 2026. January is a time to reflect on where we’ve been and look ahead to the opportunities before us as a community. Together, we continue to invest in public safety, infrastructure, economic development, and quality of life for all who call Waukegan home.
Please remember to stay prepared for winter weather and follow posted parking restrictions during snow events so our Public Works crews can efficiently clear our streets. Thank you for your cooperation and for looking out for one another during the colder months.
I look forward to working with you in the year ahead as we continue building a stronger, more vibrant Waukegan.
