Waukegan, IL.- La barbería que todo caballero necesita para arreglar ese cabello largo, hacer un buen corte de barba, sentirse cómodo y ser atendido como usted se merece, abrió sus puertas en esta ciudad, se llama Lincoln Barbershop, ubicada en el 809 de la Lincoln Street en esta localidad.
Volver a lo tradicional es asunto de expertos y de una visión empresarial de reactivar el comercio y la economía en el sur de Waukegan, área donde Mikki Schuk, propietario del lugar, apostó y fue respaldado por las autoridades que lo orientaron y apoyaron en todo momento para lograr la apertura de un negocio innovador y vanguardista.
“Hace tres años iniciamos ponernos a trabajar en el proyecto, ya que tenía 35 años de estar cerrado, sin ninguna posibilidad de ver actividad comercial, pero tenemos la visión de abrir negocios, pero sobretodo de reactivar este vecindario, así como su economía, gracias a Realty Invest”, dijo Schuk, quien domina el español a la perfección.
El pasado martes se realizó el corte de listón oficial que marca la apertura de Lincoln Barbershop, evento al que asistieron autoridades municipales encabezadas por el Alcalde Sam Cunningham, la Secretaria de la Ciudad, Janet Kilkelly; la Concejal del Distrito 1, Sylvia Sims Bolton; Porfirio García, de NetGar a Real State Corporation; oficiales de policía, así como familiares y amigos.
“El inicio de Waukegan inicia por el Distrito 1”, dijo el Alcalde Cunningham destacando que al sur de la ciudad es donde inicia el futuro de Waukegan.
Por su parte, Víctor Morales Jr., barbero del lugar recalcó la hospitalidad y calidad de servicio que recibirán los clientes del Lincoln Barbershop de lunes a domingo de 10 am a 6 pm, done les espera una atención de primera clase a precio al alcance de cualquier bolsillo, incluso, más económico.
