Waukegan, IL. – Fired temporary workers say agency treated them like garbage and will “dramatize” management tossing workers into a trash can this Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11:30 am in Gurnee, Illinois, AllStaff office located at 3607 Grand Avenue.
Workers who labored at a Waukegan factory, Visual Pak, through a temporary agency, AllStaff, Inc. AKA Malone Staffing Solutions, will denounce violations to their rights and unfair treatment. Malone Staffing Solutions, doing business as AllStaff, is based in Louisville, KY and operates 50 branch offices in 16 states.
Workers allege the following:
1) About 275 workers, some who labored for as many as three decades as temps at Visual Pak, were unjustly and improperly fired in September 2018. None of these workers received any severance for their many years of service.
2) Temp workers at Visual Pak make between 30 % to 60% less in compensation than permanent direct-hire workers. Visual Pak has saved approximately $2.5 million per year by using these temp workers.
3) At standard industry mark-up rates, AllStaff earns an estimated $300,000 per year using these workers.
4) Workers allege multiple violations to their rights.
5) AllStaff management has refused to speak directly with workers to resolve these issues.
