El litigio contra Margaret Carrasco es por acoso, fraude, invasión a la privacidad, falsedad de declaraciones y otros presuntos delitos.

Waukegan, IL.- Demandan a Margaret Carrasco, candidata demócrata para el puesto de Concejal por Distrito 4 de Waukegan, por los supuestos delitos de acoso emocional intencional, acoso en la interferencia de contratos, acoso en la interferencia de relaciones laborales, acoso en comunicados electrónicos, fraude, difamación, falsedad de declaraciones e invasión a la privacidad.
Asimismo, en el caso interpuesto, que lleva el folio 18L986 por el abogado Frank Avila, el pasado 27 de diciembre, se pide que dicha persona sea llevada a juicio y que el juez en turno le imponga un castigo ejemplar, y que pague una compensación económica de 2 millones de dólares a los demandantes por los daños los daños ocasionados en los demandantes.
Thomas A. Morris, Theresa Plascencia y Miguel Rodríguez, abogado, superintendente y presidente del consejo escolar del Distrito Escolar 60 de Waukegan, respectivamente, acusan a Carrasco de cometer una serie de ilícitos que han causado y seguirán causando daños emocionales.
Dichos actos de la candidata demócrata, indica la demanda, fueron hechos con toda la intención de causar daño, malicia, negligencia, por lo que ya se tiene fecha para el ventilar el caso ante el juez de la corte C202 el próximo 21 de marzo a las 9:00 horas.
Cabe mencionar que la decisión de llevar a cabo la demanda fue aprobada unánimemente por todo el consejo escolar, el cual votó sin oposición para que dicho litigio tenga lugar.
Antecedentes
De acuerdo a la fecha en que iniciaron las presuntas falsedades y calumnias de Margaret Carrasco en contra de la Superintendente y el presidente del consejo escolar, ésta se remonta al 10 de octubre del 2017 en un a junta pública donde la acusada señala contratar a una maestra falsificando fechas de contratación y con un salario inicial de 110 mil dólares.
Dos días después, señala el documento, la Superintendente Plascencia envió un email a Carrasco explicando a detalle el por qué y cuándo fue contratada dicha maestra.
Muchos fueron los señalamientos de la acusada, indica la causa 18L986, como el ocurrido el 10 de junio pasado cuando la candidata demócrata pone en su cuenta de Facebook un falso testimonio tras el fallecimiento del Dr. Verna Wilson, encargado de coordinar fondos escolares, donde publica que Plascencia gastar dinero ilegalmente.
Posteriormente, Carrasco envió un email a la Superintendente diciendo que: “en el caso de que tu posición esté disponible, solo quería hacerte saber que estoy interesada, házmelo saber cuando esté publicado”.
El archivo consta de 17 páginas donde destacan 60 puntos importantes que explican cada uno de los casos en que los demandantes, aseguran, fueron objeto de las calumnias de Carrasco desde octubre del 2017 hasta el pasado 14 de noviembre, sin mencionar las ocurridas este año y que según el documento, seguirán ocurriendo si un juez no le impone un correctivo ejemplar.
Cabe mencionar que la acusada tiene en su haber más de 20 demandas en su contra, siendo esta la más reciente y la que se será públicamente vista el 21 de marzo entrante cuando se le indiquen los cargos arriba descritos y, posteriormente, se fije una segunda fecha para continuar con el proceso, para entonces, Carrasco, tendrá la oportunidad de tener representación legal o ella misma enfrenta el caso.

They sue Margaret Carrasco, Democratic candidate for the position of Councilman for District 4 of Waukegan, for the alleged crimes of intentional emotional harassment, harassment in the interference of contracts, harassment in the interference of labor relations, harassment in electronic communications, fraud, defamation, false statements and invasion of privacy.

Background
According to the date on which the alleged falsehoods and slander of Margaret Carrasco began against the Superintendent and the school board president, it goes back to October 10, 2017 at a public meeting where the accused indicates hiring a teacher falsifying dates of hiring and with an initial salary of 110 thousand dollars.
Two days later, the document says, Superintendent Plascencia sent an email to Carrasco explaining in detail why and when the teacher was hired.
Many were the accusations of the defendant, indicates the cause 18L986, as happened on June 10 when the Democratic candidate puts on his Facebook account a false testimony after the death of Dr. Verna Wilson, in charge of coordinating school funds, where publishes that Plascencia spend money illegally.
Subsequently, Carrasco sent an email to the Superintendent saying that: “in the event that your position is available, I just wanted to let you know that I am interested, let me know when it is published.”
The archive consists of 16 pages highlighting 60 important points that explain each of the cases in which the plaintiffs were the object of Carrasco’s slander from October 2017 until last November 14, not to mention those that occurred this year and that according to the document, will continue to occur if a judge does not impose an exemplary corrective.
It is worth mentioning that the defendant has more than 20 lawsuits against her, the most recent being that which will be publicly seen on March 21st when the charges described above are indicated and, subsequently, a second one is set date to continue with the process, by then Carrasco will have the opportunity to have legal representation or she herself will face the case.
