Mundelein, IL. – The Village of Mundelein in partnership with SWALCO is pleased to announce the start of a village-wide clothing and textile collection program. Mundelein’s collection bin is in the parking lot of the Public Works and Engineering facility, 801 Allanson Road. The bin is accessible to residents year-round and donations may be dropped off at your convenience.
This Clothing and Textile Collection program diverts clothing and textile items from landfills, assists the local community, and supports the environment and planet. The program accepts new, gently used, or unwanted/worn, women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and textiles. All fabrics are accepted.
