Waukegan, IL. – El Alcalde de este municipio, Sam Cunningham dijo estar complacido de informar que el Estado de Illinois invertirá $4.5 millones de dólares, a través de Rebuild Illinois, para abordar las principales necesidades de infraestructura de esta ciudad.
Las siguientes calles formarán parte de los proyectos: Calle 10, Carretera Sheridan, Avenida Western, puente de la Calle Genesee y reconstrucción de la Calle Washington.
“Me refiero a que se requerirá la cooperación de diferentes gobiernos y agencias para reconstruir Waukegan.
Cuando trabajamos juntos, podemos lograr mucho más.
Quiero agradecer al Gobernador J.B. Pritzker, a la Senadora Estatal Adriane Johnson, a la Senadora Mary Edly Allen, a la Representante Estatal Rita Mayfield y a la Representante Estatal Joyce Mason por esta inversión en nuestra ciudad”.

Local infrastructure projects
Mayor Sam Cunningham said he was pleased to report that the State of Illinois will invest $4.5 million through Rebuild Illinois to address the city’s major infrastructure needs.
The following streets will be part of the projects: 10th Street, Sheridan Highway, Western Avenue, the Genesee Street Bridge, and the reconstruction of Washington Street.
“I’m saying that it will take the cooperation of different governments and agencies to rebuild Waukegan. When we work together, we can accomplish so much more.
I want to thank Governor J.B. Pritzker, State Senator Adriane Johnson, Senator Mary Edly Allen, State Representative Rita Mayfield, and State Representative Joyce Mason for this investment in our city.”
