Lake County, IL. – La nueva rotonda de Darrell Road ya está abierta. Darrell Road, Neville Road y Case Road en Wauconda, habían estado cerradas al tráfico desde el 5 de julio.
Esta rotonda realinea las intersecciones de Darrell Road, Neville Road y Case Road. La División de Transporte del Condado de Lake desea agradecer a todos los socios, contratistas y equipos locales que trabajaron en este proyecto. La construcción transcurrió sin problemas, lo que nos permitió abrir la rotonda casi dos semanas antes de lo previsto.
Esta será la primera de tres rotondas que se construirán como parte de la mejora del corredor Darrell Road. La construcción de las otras dos rotondas está prevista para 2024, en espera de que el proyecto esté listo.

Darrell Road Roundabout is open
The new Darrell Road roundabout is now open! Darrell Road, Neville Road and Case Road had been closed to through traffic since July 5.
This roundabout realigns the intersections of Darrell Road, Neville Road and Case Road. The Lake County Division of Transportation would like to thank all the local partners, contractors and crews that worked on this project. Construction went smoothly, allowing us to open the roundabout nearly two weeks ahead of schedule.
This will be the first of three roundabouts to be constructed as part of the Darrell Road Corridor Improvement. The other two roundabouts are scheduled for construction in 2024, pending project readiness.
