Waukegan, IL. – The Waukegan Park District will be opening SplashZone for the season on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Located at 412 S. Lewis Avenue in Corrine J. Rose Park, the state-of-the-art water park includes a multi-generational water playground with six slides and numerous play features.
New this year, season passes will be available for children, adults, and families. Season passholders will be able to enjoy unlimited entry to the SplashZone. Season passes will be sold at the following rates:
• Child Season Pass (Resident): $45 (Early Bird Special)/$55 (Regular Price)
• Child Season Pass (Nonresident): $60 (Early Bird Special)/$70 (Regular Price)
• Adult Season Pass (Resident): $55 (Early Bird Special)/$65 (Regular Price)
• Adult Season Pass (Nonresident): $70 (Early Bird Special)/$80 (Regular Price)
• Family Season Pass (Resident): $160 (Early Bird Special)/$180 (Regular Price)
• Family Season Pass (Nonresident): $180 (Early Bird Special)/$200 (Regular Price)
To qualify for the resident fee, individuals must show proof of residency within the boundaries of the Waukegan Park District. Proof of residency can be provided with government-issued identification card (i.e., state identification card or driver’s license), foreign government identification card issued in the United States (i.e., consular identification cards) or a current bill (within the last ninety days), including utility, credit card, phone, and mortgage bills. Residency for children can be verified with an identification card from Waukegan Public Schools or parent/guardian’s proof of residency.
The early bird special is available until Friday, May 20, 2022. Season passes must be purchased at the Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center, located at 800 N. Baldwin Avenue. More information, including hours of operation, admission, and rental options, is available at
