Zion, IL.-The leaves may be disappearing because of the cold and snow, but West cannot leave fall behind. West Elementary celebrated the fall season with Harvest Fest, a fun-filled festival night. With over 200 students and their families attending, Harvest Fest proved to be the best way to end the fall season. Students and families participated in many fun activities including a cake walk, football toss, and a photo booth.
Competition was serious during the cake walk as participants battled to win prizes such as Frosty keychains from Wendy’s and a delicious cake. There was also opportunities for participants to win prizes during the football toss and “flying chicken” stations. Those attended found a lot of enjoyment with the photo booth and the fun props provided. West administrators and staff were happy to see how much fun their students and families had, and look forward to seeing everyone at their next event.
