Zion, IL. – Last week, Zion Elementary School District 6 celebrated Unity Day and Anti-Bullying Month in a way that brought all 7 schools together. Each school participated in their own Unity Day celebration which included pep rallies, community walks, etc. To bring the schools together, the District organized a “Unity/Unidad” picture that included all staff and students. District 6 chose to spell out “unity” in English and Spanish in order to include every member of the District 6 family. The District would like to extend a special thank you to Wade from Zion Public Works who committed his day and truck to supporting unity within out district.
