¿Ustedes creen, mis queridos tres o cuatro lectores, que las próximas elecciones presidenciales puedan ser saboteadas por la actual administración que dirige Donald Trump?
Hay temor al respecto, pues como dice el dicho: “El miedo no anda en burro”, y el presidente teme perder el hueso en su primer mandato, luego de tantas atrocidades que ha cometido, por mencionar una: que el coronavirus sería asunto del pasado en cuanto entrara el calor de la primavera. Hágame el chinga’o favor, en fin, la cuestión es que ya los municipios se empiezan a mover para tener más seguridad en las urnas electorales para que no se las vayan a robar, con eso de que ahora están de moda las protestas por los derechos humanos y aprovechan para hacer sus desmadres, perdón, sus desmanes.
Y hablando de política, hay una candidata que dará mucho de qué hablar en los siguientes días, bueno, ya captó la atención de los medios, y ahora las de este semanario hispano.
Ella es Lauren Fleming, candidata al Consejo del Condado de Lake, quien no se anda por las ramas y dice las cosas tal y como son, no por nada viene del rancho, sabe de tractores y agricultura, pues fue criada como muchos latinos, al calor del sol en la siembra.
En esta edición verá parte de su historia, de su plataforma política y de los cambios que pretende hacer cuando sea electa y obtenga el voto hispano.
Por cierto, es la primera candidata blanca, güerita, para ser más exacto, que se interesa en la comunidad hispana en este proceso electoral, lo cual da gusto y es digno de compartir con nuestra gente, porque, aunque las elecciones son en noviembre 3, ella pretende ver la problemática para involucrarse desde ahora, y no una semana antes, cuando los políticos empiezan a sonreír para que voten por ellos.
Y hablando de votar, recuerde que ya puede hacerlo por correo si es que no quiere ir en persona el día de la votación general.
