Y rumbo a la recta final en las elecciones generales del 8 de noviembre, y esperando que la comunidad hispana elija al candidato que considere su mejor opción, en PF News continuaremos dando nuestro aporte a la política en el Condado de Lake con la firme creencia que nuestras preferencias podrían traer un gran beneficio para los nuestros en los distintos temas que nos impactan diariamente como: salud, economía, seguridad, empleo, educación y otros.
Es por ello que damos nuestro humilde respaldo para los siguientes candidatos:
Para la representación estatal de Illinois por el Distrito 61 a Joyce Mason, una mujer demócrata que consideramos, que pese a haber sido víctima de abuso doméstico ha sabido salir a delante y ser ejemplo para toda mujer que tiene el deseo de prosperidad, ha manejado esa relación que se ocupa entre comunidad y servidor público siendo accesible en todo momento.
Para el cargo de Senador de Illinois por el Distrito 31 al republicano Adam Solano, quien tiene la firme convicción con los latinos de hacer suyos los problemas de la comunidad, y que asegura además, que el buen liderazgo une a las personas.
Para el Segundo Distrito de la Corte Suprema de Illinois al republicano Mark Curran, ex sheriff del Condado de Lake y quien tiene el firme compromiso de la equidad y velar por la justicia de llegar al puesto.
Para el cargo de Secretario del Condado de Lake al demócrata Anthony Vega, el único candidato de habla hispana y que promete ser la voz de los latinos en uno de los cargos más importantes, además que cuenta con las credenciales profesionales para dirigir este puesto.
Para la posición de Sheriff del Condado de Lake, donde la decisión fue muy difícil dados los elevados currículos de ambos contendientes, a John Idleburg, candidato demócrata de experiencia, trato humilde y servicial que se ha identificado con la comunidad hispana por su forma de fácil acceso y sus pólizas que benefician a nuestra comunidad.
Para el puesto la Junta del Condado de Lake, Distrito 10, a la demócrata Jessica Vealitzek, una persona sensible a las necesidades de la población, siempre atenta a servir y que ahora tiene otro compromiso más en su agenda de trabajo, acercarse aún más a la comunidad hispana.
Por Gina Roberts, demócrata, para la Junta del Condado del Lake en el Distrito 4, comprometida en el aspecto fiscal, el desarrollo económico y en la inversión en infraestructura.
También para la Junta del Condado de Lake, Distrito 17, a la demócrata Alicia Timm, quien, además de hablar español y ser apasionada con temas ecológicos y ambientales, vemos con buenos ojos que servirá a la comunidad hispana de su área.
Y el apoyo también es para candidatos de la vecina ciudad de Kenosha, Wisconsin donde la población hispana juega un papel importante en la economía de ese condado, por tal motivo, apoyamos las siguientes dos candidaturas.
Para el cargo de Secretaria de la Corte de Circuito a Rebecca Matoska-Mentink, quien busca la reelección basada en su enorme experiencia en el cargo con más de 25 años en temas judiciales y legales, lo que la convierte en la aspirante más preparada.
Y para la Asamblea del Distrito 64 Estatal de Wisconsin a Tip McGuire, que tras hacer un gran trabajo en su primer término se busca reelegir bajo el lema: “Trabajando duro para personas trabajadoras”.
Amigos, no olviden que seguimos en votaciones anticipadas y que el 8 de noviembre usted toma las riendas de la política al salir a ejercer su derecho al voto. Hasta la próxima y que tengan excelente fin de semana.
PF News endorses candidates
And towards the final stretch in the general elections on November 8, and hoping that the Hispanic community chooses the candidate that they consider their best option, at PF News we will continue to give our contribution to politics in Lake County with the firm belief that our preferences could bring a great benefit to ours in the different issues that impact us daily such as: health, economy, security, employment, education and others.
That is why we give our humble endorsement for the following candidates:
For the state representation of Illinois District 61, Joyce Mason, a Democrat woman that we consider, who despite having been a victim of domestic abuse has known how to get ahead and be an example for every woman who has the desire for prosperity, has managed that relationship between community and public servant being accessible at all times.
For the position of Senator from Illinois for District 31, Republican Adam Solano, who has the firm conviction with Latinos of making community problems their own, and who also ensures that good leadership unites people.
For the Second District of the Illinois Supreme Court, Republican Mark Curran, former Lake County Sheriff and who has a firm commitment to equity and ensuring justice to reach the position.
For the position of Lake County Clerk, Democrat Anthony Vega, the only Spanish-speaking candidate who promises to be the voice of Latinos in one of the most important positions, also has the professional credentials to lead this position.
For the position of Sheriff of Lake County, where the decision was very difficult given the high résumés of both contenders, to John Idleburg, a Democratic candidate with experience, humble and helpful treatment who has been identified with the Hispanic community for his easy way access and its policies that benefit our community.
For the position, the Lake County Board, District 10, to Democrat Jessica Vealitzek, a person sensitive to the needs of the population, always attentive to serving and who now has another commitment on her work agenda, getting even closer to the Hispanic community.

Also for the Lake County Board, District 17, Democrat Alicia Timm, who, in addition to speaking Spanish and being passionate about ecological and environmental issues, we welcome that she will serve the Hispanic community in her area.
And the support is also for candidates from the neighboring city of Kenosha, Wisconsin where the Hispanic population plays an important role in the economy of that county, for this reason, we support the following two candidates.
For the position of Clerk of the Circuit Court to Rebecca Matoska-Mentink, who is seeking re-election based on her enormous experience in the position with more than 25 years in judicial and legal matters, which makes her the most prepared candidate.
And for the Wisconsin State District 64 Assembly, Tip McGuire, who after doing a great job in her first term, is seeking re-election under the motto: “Working hard for hardworking people.”
Friends, do not forget that we are still in early voting and that on November 8 you take the reins of politics when you go out to exercise your right to vote.
