Waukegan, IL. -Waukegan Public Schools will unveil new websites this week, that will provide a more streamlined and easier-to-use experience for parents, students and staff.
On August 1, District 60 is launching a redesign of its sites, including the websites for all schools buildings. This revamp, which has been planned for a year, includes modernized websites, improved mass communication tools, and a new smartphone app, which will allow for parents to easily access information and receive alerts on the go. The app will soon be available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
“We’re very excited for how this change is going to modernize and integrate many of our communication tools,” said Associate Superintendent of Information Technology, Dr. Josue Cuevas. “Aside from a more visually-appealing design, our new sites will also be fully ADA-compliant, and they will more seamlessly communicate with other tools, including our new District app, our mass communication tools, and third-party apps, such as Infinite Campus and MyStop bus app.
