Todo el Condado de Lake se encuentra con la disyuntiva del qué pasará en los siguientes días por tener encima tres eventos importantes, uno en tema de salud, otro es asunto cívico y que tomará el rumbo del gobierno en muchos niveles, y el tercero, en tema educativo.
Y como dijo Jack ‘El Destripador’: “Vámonos por partes”. Para empezar, hablaremos del urgente comunicado de prensa que nos hace llegar el Departamento de Salud anunciando que debido a que no nos estamos cuidando, el Coronavirus está haciendo mella en la gente y los casos van viento en popa.
Por tal motivo, y para no ir muy lejos, recomiendan a todos los distritos escolares y escuelas privadas que la educación desde Kínder hasta 12 grado, sea remota, en línea, desde casa, pero que no mandemos los chamacos a la escuela, por temor a que los contagios vayan en aumento y puedan causar problemas en los estudiantes.
Asimismo, de seguir los contagios, aplicarán medidas drásticas a comercios, por ejemplo, mis queridos tres o cuatro lectores, y con sus palabras textuales: Las medidas de mitigación contiene restricciones tales como limitar el servicio de bares y restaurantes, actividades deportivas y el tamaño de las reuniones sociales.
