REGISTRATION AND VOTING AIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that any registered voter who is eligible to vote in the November 3, 2026, General Election; may vote by mail, early, or on Election Day. Vote by Mail applications are currently being accepted and Vote by Mail ballots are available beginning September 24, 2026. Early Voting begins at the County Clerk’s office on September 24, 2026. All other Early Voting sites open on October 19, 2026, and continue through Monday, November 2, 2026.
Vote by Mail applications are available online or by calling the Lake County Clerk’s office at (847) 377-2406. Voter registration is open through October 6, 2026. Voter registration is also available online through the Illinois State Board of Elections at https://ova.elections.il.gov through October 18, 2026. Grace Period Registration and Voting is available from October 7, 2026, through November 2, 2026.
A fully accessible voting system will be available during Early Voting and at all voting sites on the 3rd of November. Lake County’s system is an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ballot-marking system providing privacy and accessibility to voters who are blind, vision-impaired, or have a disability or condition that would make it difficult or impossible to mark a ballot the usual way.
