Waukegan, IL.- El Distrito de Parques de Waukegan celebró su carrera anual del Pavo el sábado 9 de noviembre de 2019 en Bevier Park. Los participantes de la carrera donaron tres contenedores de alimentos no perecederos. La comida fue donada a Caridades Católicas.
No hubo participantes en las siguientes categorías: mujeres 13-23 meses, hombres 18 23 años y hombre 50-59 años. Cada ganador del primer lugar recibió un pavo y en el sorteo de participación, se regalaron once pavos más.
María Hinojosa ha ganado la carrera en su clase durante más de una década, y Pat O Keefe es otra participante y ganadora desde hace mucho tiempo. Ambos corren en las más de 60 categorías. ¡Felicitaciones a todos los ganadores y participantes de la carrera! Gracias Vista Health por patrocinar el el evento.
Turkey Trot 2019 Race Results
The Waukegan Park District held its annual Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Bevier Park. Race participants donated three bins of non-perishable food items. Food was donated to Catholic Charities.
First place winners were as follows:

There were no participants in the following categories: female 13-23 months, male 18 23 years and male 50-59 years. Each first place winner received a turkey and in the participation drawing, eleven more turkeys were given away.
Maria Hinojosa has won the race in her class for more than a decade, and Pat O Keefe is another long time participant and winner. Both race in the over 60 categories. Congratulations to all winners and race participants! Thank you Vista Health for sponsoring the Turkey Trot.
