Mundelein, IL. – El 11º Festival Anual de las Artes de Mundelein ya está aceptando solicitudes de expositores. Este espectáculo con jurado se llevará a cabo el 10 y 11 de septiembre en Kracklauer Park. Los artistas que presenten su solicitud antes del 15 de abril obtendrán un descuento de $20 en la tarifa de su stand al ser aceptados en el espectáculo. El costo de la solicitud es de $25 y no es reembolsable.
Se invita a postularse a los creadores de arte original y artesanías finas que incluyen pinturas, fotografías, cerámica, muebles de madera, joyería, fibra y otros artículos hechos a mano. El festival, presentado por Mundelein Community Connection y Mundelein Park & Recreation District, busca aproximadamente 45 artistas y artesanos para el espectáculo con jurado. Los artistas son elegibles para ganar premios en efectivo en siete categorías, incluido Best of Show. Además, The Kirk Players otorga un premio en efectivo de $500 al artista emergente. Además, el Village of Mundelein y varios premios de compra de patrocinadores comerciales.

Arts Festival Seeking Artists
The 11th Annual Mundelein Arts Festival is now accepting applications for exhibitors. This juried show will be held on September 10 and 11 at Kracklauer Park. Artists who apply before April 15 will get a $20 discount on their booth fee upon acceptance to the show. The cost to apply is $25 and is non-refundable.
Creators of original art and fine crafts including paintings, photography, pottery, wood furnishings, jewelry, fiber, and other handmade items are invited to apply. The festival, presented by Mundelein Community Connection and Mundelein Park & Recreation District, is seeking approximately 45 fine artists and craftspeople for the juried show. Artists are eligible to win cash prizes in seven categories including Best of Show. In addition, The Kirk Players awards a $500 cash prize to an emerging artist. Also, the Village of Mundelein and several business sponsor purchase awards.
After taking a one-year hiatus in 2020 at the height of the pandemic, the Mundelein Arts Festival came back in full force with record attendance in 2021.
“We were thrilled with the turnout last fall after putting the festival on pause the year before,” said Christa Lawrence, Founder and Event Chair of the Festival. “We are looking forward to an even greater number of people coming out to peruse, purchase art, enjoy great food and listen to music.”
