Beach Park, IL. – On May 13, 2019, at approximately 2:00AM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of North Sheridan Road and North Ganster Road, Beach Park, for a traffic crash with injuries. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and located a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette with significant damage.
Preliminary investigation shows the Chevrolet, driven by a 23-year-old male of Waukegan, was travelling southbound on Sheridan Road. A witness reported the driver was travelling excessively fast. As the vehicle traveled southbound, the driver lost control, crossed into the northbound lanes of traffic, and then drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole and several trees.
