Vernon Hills, IL. – At the April 29 board meeting, Joel Finfer was sworn in as a new Hawthorn School District 73 Board of Education member. He will serve a four-year term. Additionally, former board members Sonali Patil, Robin Cleek, Victoria Helander-Heiser, and George Fievet were officially sworn in to their new terms.
“We are so pleased to have a marketing veteran on our team,” said Hawthorn District 73 Interim Superintendent Mark Friedman. “We are excited by the talent, expertise and energy that he brings to the table. This board as a whole has great energy and skills to proficiently move the District’s agenda forward.”
