Waukegan, IL. -Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60, in conjunction with District architect, Wold Architects and Engineers, will host a special workshop aimed at educating local contractors on the process involved with working with the school district and other public agencies.
The free open house and question and answer session will be held for all construction and mechanical contractors in the Waukegan and Lake County area. The workshop will be on Thursday, October 25, from at 6 p.m. in the Board Room of Lincoln Center, 1201 N. Sheridan Road.

How do I find out about a project?
Getting the documents from the Architect/Engineer.
Questions during Bidding.
The Bid form.
General Conditions – A201 – Common Modifications.
Developing good public project references and referrals.
Getting Paid: Application for Payment, Retainage, and Waivers.
Community involvement and visibility.
Connecting with other area subcontractors and general contractors.
