America Zavala

America Zavala, a 6th-grade student, has been named Elmwood School’s District 6 Student of the Month award recipient for the month! She is one who has proven herself a star, both academically and as a leader. She is always willing to help others with their assignments when her teacher, Mrs. Wilson, needs a hand. Her friends call her funny, helpful, friendly, resourceful, trustworthy, and a great athlete, among other positive attributes. Some of her extracurricular activities include volleyball, basketball, soccer, Youth Leadership Team, and Safety Patrol. We are happy to present America Zavala as our Student of the Month!

Two Lakeview students were recognized for their outstanding attendance at the May School Board meeting. Taylor Prince Alexander Pipes, in Ms. Littlefield’s class, was recognized for perfect attendance. Mitchell McClure, also in Ms. Littlefield’s class, was recognized for having only one absence. Lakeview staff thanks and commends the families of these students for their dedication and support of their children’s education.
