Zion, IL. – West Elementary School students got fun and learning at the same time.
Miss Wright’s third graders have been learning about clouds and how they can predict the weather based on the type and color of a cloud. They are also learning how weather patterns over time determine the climate of a region.
So this past Thursday, they took a virtual reality field trip using a Google Expeditions kit to visit 7 different national parks. While there, we analyzed the types of clouds they saw, and made some predictions about the weather and climate at each park. The students had a blast!
