Zion, IL. – Los estudiantes de segundo grado del Distrito Escolar Primario 6 de Zion tendrán la oportunidad de conocer virtualmente a la autora y reconocida actriz Grace Byers en una lectura y charla este jueves 11 de enero de 2021 a las 2:00 pm. Byers apareció en las temporadas 2015-2019 de Empire Television Series en la cadena Fox. Actualmente es una habitual de la nueva serie The Gifted en la cadena Fox.
Los estudiantes de segundo grado han leído sus libros “Creo que puedo” y “Soy suficiente” como parte de “Llevando experiencias de la vida real al Distrito 6, donde los estudiantes aprenden del mundo fuera de Zion, su ciudad natal”. I Believe I Can” es una afirmación para que los niños y niñas de todos los orígenes se amen y crean en sí mismos. Mientras que “I Am Enough” es una celebración de amar lo que eres, respetar a los demás y ser amables unos con otros.
El Distrito 6 de Zion ha traído experiencias de la vida real a los hogares y aulas del Distrito 6 este año y continuará informando e inspirando a sus estudiantes al proporcionar eventos educativos como el jueves de leer y hablar.
Students meet writer and actress
The second-grade students of Zion Elementary School District 6 will have the opportunity to virtually meet author and renowned actress, Grace Byers in a read and speak this Thursday, January 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Byers appeared on the 2015-2019 seasons of the Empire Television Series on the Fox network. She is currently a regular on the new series The Gifted on the Fox network.
The second-grade students have read her books “I Believe I Can” and “I Am Enough” as part of Zion’s D6 “Bringing Real-Life Experiences to District 6” where students learn of the world outside of their hometown of Zion. “I Believe I Can” is an affirmation for boys and girls of every background to love and believe in themselves. While “I Am Enough” is a celebration of loving who you are, respecting others, and being kind to one another.
Zion Elementary District 6 have brought real-life experiences into District 6 homes and classrooms this year and will continue to inform and inspire their students by providing educational events such as the read and speak Thursday.
